Fully boarded internal access platforms for ceilings, roofs and structural work — including heavy-duty crash deck scaffolding built for fall protection and catching falling materials.
A birdcage scaffold is a large, freestanding scaffold grid commonly used inside buildings to provide safe access to ceilings, roofs and other high-level areas.
A crash deck is a specific heavy-duty type of birdcage scaffold. It's built primarily for fall protection and for catching falling materials or debris beneath roof, loft or structural work.
Freestanding platforms built up from the floor for safe access to ceilings and the underside of roofs.
Boarded platforms supporting loft conversions and structural work above occupied floors.
Complete boarding across the whole platform, with no gaps in the working surface.
Wide, stable platforms that let several trades work at height at the same time.
A stronger birdcage build, engineered specifically to take an impact load.
Acts as a physical catch platform beneath work at height, reducing the consequences of a fall.
Stops tools, debris and building materials reaching the floor or the area below.
Boarding and support are specified to the load the deck actually needs to carry.
Larger spans, heavier loads or unusual layouts are calculated and signed off by a scaffold designer before we build.
Every birdcage is sized to the room. Where fall or falling-object protection is needed, we build it as a heavy-duty crash deck engineered to the load it has to carry.

If work is happening above an occupied floor, a public area, or anywhere falling tools or debris would be a hazard, a crash deck gives you that extra layer of fall and impact protection.
It depends on the job. We work out what the deck needs to carry before it goes up and build the boarding and support to that load, rather than using a standard layout.
For straightforward spans, our CISRS team plans and builds to standard guidance. For larger spans, heavier loads or unusual layouts, we bring in a scaffold designer to calculate and sign off the structure before it goes up.
The same five steps, every time. No chasing, no surprises — just a scaffold that goes up when we say and comes down when we say.
