Cancellation and Refund Policy
How to cancel or rearrange a scaffold booking, your legal rights as a homeowner, and how refunds work.
In short
- Homeowners who agree a job with us by phone, email, online or at their home normally have 14 days to cancel.
- If you ask us to start within those 14 days and then cancel, you pay only for what we have already done.
- After that, or for business customers, any cancellation charges are the ones shown on your quotation.
- Refunds are paid within 14 days, back to the way you paid.
Your quotation and our Terms and Conditions also apply. If your quotation says something different, your quotation wins.
Your 14 day right to cancel (homeowners)
If you are a consumer and you accepted our quotation away from our office, for example at your home, by phone, by email or through our website, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 give you 14 days to cancel without giving a reason. The 14 days start the day after you accept the quotation.
If you want the scaffold put up within those 14 days, you need to ask us to start early. If you then cancel within the 14 days, you pay a fair amount for the work already carried out up to the moment you tell us, such as erection and the hire used so far. If the whole job has been completed within the 14 days at your request, the right to cancel no longer applies.
